Back to Front Inside Out is a small, passionate firm dedicated to upcycling and retrofitting dated residential properties. We provide creative architectural design solutions to turn houses into beautiful family homes. We’re looking for a friendly, highly organized, and creative individual to help manage the operational side of the business and deliver a fantastic customer experience. What You’ll Be Doing…
- Being the friendly first contact: You’ll be the go-to for new enquiries and clients over email and phone, sharing info about our services and providing an outstanding experience from first contact to project instruction and beyond.
- Coordinating design consultations and sales support: You’ll book in consultations, create visually appealing brochures and fee proposals, and support clients as they move through the sales process.
- Executive support: Working closely with our MD, you’ll help manage her schedule, prepare her for meetings, and support her in delivering our services smoothly.
- Keeping things organised: You’ll maintain our database, client files, communications, and documents, and keep our invoicing and admin systems in top shape—you’ll be at the very heart of keeping us running like clockwork.
- Improving systems: We’d love you to keep an eye out for opportunities to improve our processes and talk to us if you think we can do things better.
- Helping with research: Assist with researching property info, planning research, and applications.
- Quality control: Look over drawings, documents, and supplier quotes to catch any errors or typos.
- Coordinating with suppliers: Send out quote requests to suppliers and keep tabs on responses.
- Creating eye-catching content: Craft and share engaging content for our social media platforms and keep our website fresh with new project updates.
- Capturing project moments: During client visits, capture and curate photos and videos that showcase our work beautifully.
We’d love to hear from you if…
- You have the right experience: At least two years in an admin or organizational role.
- You’re friendly and a great communicator: Confident and personable, you know how to set the right tone in emails, phone calls, and in writing.
- You’re a natural organizer: Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease.
- You’re a capable proof-reader: You have a great eye for grammar, proofreading, and writing engaging copy.
- You’re independent and proactive: You’re self-motivated, love a challenge, and aren’t afraid to figure things out on your own.
- You’re creatively inclined: You enjoy working with digital media, photography, and have a good design flair.
- You’re social media savvy: You have experience creating and sharing content on social platforms, plus some basic website management skills.
- You’re tech savvy: Familiar with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Drive, and comfortable using an Apple iMac.
Bonus skills that would be great (But not essential!)
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Rush
- Experience with a WordPress website
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks
- Background in engaging with the media or editorial publications.

Benefits…
£28,000 – £32,000 Pro – Rata (Based on a 40 hour working week inc. lunch)
The role is for 30 hours per week but could be full time for the right person.
Holiday is 22 days per annum + bank holidays.
