Set in a quiet, rural location with spectacular views to the rear of the property, this Back to Front design has added real country charm to this long loved family home.

Working with the existing structure of the house, the garage was replaced with a spacious open plan kitchen / dining / family area. The addition of large gable windows at both ends of this new space allows plenty of natural light to flood in. A new garage was then created at the entrance to the property so as not to lose this valuable storage space. The internal layout was re-configured to provide a new central entrance and staircase, reducing the need to go through one room to get to another, and enabling the bedrooms to enjoy the far reaching views over open countryside.

The exterior of the property has been completely remodelled with a softer colour palette, a mix of weatherboard and render to the walls, new timber windows, including a large picture window on the stairs to showcase the view beyond, and a welcoming oak beam front porch and statement front door. Soft landscaping with an area dedicated to wild flowers and long grasses, completes the look.
